The pub reopened in May 2023 under new management and subsequently reverted to its previous name. It was previously renamed The Foinavon in 2019, based on the name of the 1967 Grand National winner, trained near the village of Compton. Inside, there are several spacious bar areas and one has a grand piano. The large beer garden includes an outdoor climbing frame / slide and swings. The sheltered area near the main entrance has piped music.
